The number in the header

The number at the top of this document is a demonstration and nothing else. It costs you what your own carrier bills for a call, and not a cent more. No pitch is made on it, and no call comes back to you later.

A machine takes it. It gets on with the job rather than explaining itself first — put the question to it plainly and it says outright that it is an AI.

The arrangement

RivetCall puts an answering agent on the phone a mobile heavy-truck repair shop already runs. It picks up, pins down the highway and the exit, gets the rig, the fault and the driver’s number, then patches the owner in while the driver is still holding. Built once, billed once: nothing is rented and nothing renews.

Nothing up front

No money changes hands while I put it together. The single invoice is raised the day it answers on the shop’s own number and the owner has heard it work. That invoice is also the last one — there is nothing monthly from me and no contract to sit out.

Ninety days to hand it back

Ninety days run from the day it goes live, and inside them the whole amount is refundable. Any reason, or none at all: the shop says the word, the full sum is returned, the agent is removed and the phone handed back untouched. No restocking charge and nobody to escalate to.

Those three months also cover the work — a phrase said wrong, a question it should put better, a habit worth breaking. The owner calls me about it and I change it. No ticket gets opened and no invoice follows.

Whose it is, and what it runs on

Everything handed over is the shop’s own: the agent, its settings, and the wiring that seats it on the phone. Nobody ports the number painted on the door — it stays where it is, answers exactly where it has always answered, and killing the agent leaves the phone as it was that morning.

Working calls spends phone minutes and AI usage. Those run on accounts standing in the shop’s name, at whatever the providers charge for them, with no margin added by me and no cut taken.

What it cannot promise

It is a program on a phone line. I back it with the refund set out above, yet neither people nor code get every call right. To the fullest extent the law permits, my liability arising here will not exceed the sum invoiced to the shop.
